Stone Man Standing
Hunter MacKenzie He arrived uninvited but not unannounced: thunder and lightning the omens of the flood that came and left him stranded on the bank like so much driftwood. He will never learn to swim, preferring instead to ride the current. Waiving his birthright, he will (foolishly) apprentice himself to engineers, masters of the art of building bridges. He will become adept at designing dams and holding back the river… just another fool heretic screaming to be let go when their chains could never hold him anyway. © Copyright 2004 by Hunter MacKenzie |
